Online Self Compassion for Shame Course

with Christine Grace McMulkin

“Shame strikes at the core of our being but has nothing to do with who we really are.” - Chris Germer

Welcome to this groundbreaking advanced Self Compassion program developed by Dr. Chris Germer and team.  Self Compassion is the antidote to shame. In this course, we will shine a light on shame, taking a unique, non-pathological look at Shame through the eyes of Self Compassion.

What would happen if you were able to care for yourself when you felt shame, rather than being immobilized by fear or attacking yourself? How would your life be different if you could meet shame with compassion and stay connected, reflect in a balanced way, and make supportive choices in response to shame?

Self Compassion for Shame is a therapeutic, resource building program. Since we will be touching shame with Self Compassion, challenging emotions may arise. Your teacher is committed to cultivating a warm and welcoming learning community and creating a safe and rewarding learning experience.

Self Compassion for Shame is an advanced Mindful Self Compassion program. Completion of an MSC workshop or program is foundational to engagement in the Self Compassion for Shame course.
